What is a membrane polyester filter bag?
The filter bag is made from the membrane covered filter cloth which undergoes form membrane post-treatment procedure during the production. Other filter materials can also be treated with film coating for example PP, Aramid, P84, PPS, Fiberglass, and PTFE etc. The most commonly used filter bag in normal conditions is polyester film coated filter bag.
The polyester filter bag is made of 100% polyester raw material. According to the characteristics of working conditions and usage requirements .Different production equipment and manufacturing procedures are adopted. Mix polyester fibers with different denier numbers through needle punching. Afterwards it undergoes singeing, heat setting, and rolling followed by post-treatment with film coating .This manufacturing procedure produces a coated polyester felt that has high filtration performance and excellent quality. The polyester felt is then sewed to form a membrane coated polyester filter bag.
What is the special production processes for membrane polyester filter bags?
The polyester filter bag is made of polyester needle felt. The most conventional polyester needle felt on the market only needs to be needle punched, singed, heat set, and rolled before use. However, in some complex working conditions with high filtration or any other specific requirements. Special production procedures are be used to increase the performance of filter bags.
Filter bags can be treated with singeing, calendaring, water and oil repellent coating, PTFE impregnation and lamination as per customers demand and configuration.
