SFFILTECH supplies finished woven fiberglass filter bags for selected reverse-air dust collectors. The bag is reviewed as part of the existing collector system, so its construction is confirmed before quotation rather than assumed from the product name alone.
Reverse-air systems commonly filter from the inside of the bag toward the outside and use reversed airflow for cleaning. The final airflow and cleaning arrangement are confirmed from the collector design.
Tubular form, an open bottom, J-bolt or other top suspension, and external support rings are possible reverse-air configurations. These features are not universal: the top and bottom construction, tube-sheet connection, ring material, number and spacing are confirmed from the equipment drawing, collector dimensions or a sample bag.
Diameter and length are produced to the required collector fit and are confirmed from drawings, equipment measurements or an existing sample. For replacement work, photographs and measurements of the old bag can support identification, while a sample bag can be reviewed for material, construction and treatment.
For this woven fiberglass product, the accepted selection boundary is generally below 260°C for continuous operation and not above 300°C for peak temperature. Final suitability still depends on the complete bag construction and the actual operating conditions.
Available treatment options may include silicone-oil, graphite, Teflon B, PTFE membrane or lamination, and acid-repellent treatment. Treatment selection is confirmed against the process gas, dust, moisture or chemical exposure; no treatment is presented as universally suitable.
Please provide the following information so the finished bag can be reviewed against the existing reverse-air collector:
SFFILTECH will use these inputs to confirm the construction, dimensions and treatment before quotation for the selected reverse-air dust-filtration application.
| Item | Selection boundary |
|---|---|
| Product form | Finished woven filter bag |
| Material | Woven fiberglass |
| Collector / cleaning type | Selected reverse-air dust collectors; confirm cleaning direction and collector design |
| Diameter and length | Confirm from equipment drawing, collector measurements or sample bag |
| Top suspension | Confirm from drawing or sample; J-bolt or another arrangement may be possible |
| Bottom construction | Confirm from drawing, equipment or sample bag |
| Support-ring arrangement | Confirm material, number and spacing when external support rings are specified |
| Fit / replacement review | Review tube-sheet connection, photographs, measurements and sample information |
| Treatment options | Silicone-oil, graphite, Teflon B, PTFE membrane or lamination, and acid-repellent treatment may be available; confirm against operating conditions |
| Temperature boundary | Generally below 260°C continuous operation and not above 300°C peak; final suitability depends on complete construction and actual conditions |
| Quotation inputs | Collector type, cleaning direction, drawing or sample, construction details, dimensions, quantity, temperature, dust and process-gas conditions |
For selected reverse-air dust-filtration applications, the finished woven fiberglass filter bag is reviewed against the existing collector, equipment drawing or sample bag. Construction, dimensions, temperature boundary, treatment and operating conditions must be confirmed before quotation; no industry or collector configuration is treated as universally suitable.
