Custom Woven Fiberglass Filter Bag

product detail

Custom Woven Fiberglass Filter Bag

SFFILTECH manufactures custom finished filter bags from woven fiberglass fabric for selected industrial dust-filtration applications after technical review of drawings, equipment parameters or an existing sample bag. CID79 covers generic custom woven fiberglass finished bags and does not represent flat or roll filter media or a reverse-air-specific construction.

Construction Confirmation

Top/cuff, bottom, seam and sewing details are confirmed according to the required bag construction, equipment details and operating conditions. No single top, bottom or seam design applies to every custom bag.

Dimensions and Fit

Common bag diameters are approximately 110–180 mm, while individual or custom bags may be approximately 300 mm. Final diameter and length must be confirmed from the drawing, equipment dimensions or sample bag.

Cage and tube-sheet fit are reviewed before manufacture. Replacement bags may be developed from an old or sample bag when the baghouse dimensions and fit details can be verified.

Treatment Options

Application-dependent options may include silicone-oil treatment, graphite treatment, Teflon B treatment, PTFE membrane or lamination, and acid-repellent treatment. Availability depends on the fiberglass fabric construction, finished-bag construction and operating conditions and must be confirmed before quotation.

Temperature Selection Boundary

Continuous use is generally below 260°C, and peak temperature should not exceed 300°C. Sewing thread, seam design, bag construction and treatment may reduce the final allowable temperature. These values are family-level selection boundaries, not guaranteed ratings for every construction.

Information Required Before Quotation

  • Drawing, existing sample bag or complete equipment dimensions
  • Required diameter and length
  • Top/cuff, bottom and seam requirements
  • Cage and tube-sheet dimensions
  • Continuous and peak temperatures
  • Process-gas composition
  • Dust characteristics
  • Moisture and chemical exposure
  • Required treatment
  • Quantity

Product-Scope Boundary

This record covers generic custom woven fiberglass finished filter bags. Reverse-air bags with specialized suspension or internal support construction remain a separate product, and flat or roll woven fiberglass media is covered by a separate fabric record.

FAQ

    • Q

What product scope does this woven fiberglass filter bag record cover?

      A
This record covers generic custom finished filter bags made from woven fiberglass fabric. The final bag construction is confirmed from the equipment details, drawing or an existing sample bag. Flat or roll filter media and reverse-air-specific bag constructions are handled as separate product scopes.
    • Q

What diameters and lengths are available?

      A
Common finished-bag diameters are approximately 110–180 mm, while individual or custom bags may be approximately 300 mm. Final diameter and length are confirmed from the drawing, equipment dimensions, tube-sheet and cage fit, or a sample bag rather than from a fixed public size list.
    • Q

What temperature range should be used for preliminary selection?

      A
For preliminary family-level selection, continuous use is generally below 260°C and peak temperature should not exceed 300°C. The final allowable temperature depends on the fiberglass fabric, sewing thread, seam and bag construction, treatment, process gas and operating conditions and must be confirmed before quotation.
    • Q

Which surface treatments can be supplied?

      A
Application-dependent options may include silicone-oil treatment, graphite treatment, Teflon B treatment, PTFE membrane or lamination, and acid-repellent treatment. The appropriate option is selected after review of the fabric construction, dust, temperature, moisture, chemical exposure, cleaning method and finished-bag requirements.
    • Q

What information is required before quotation?

      A
Please provide a drawing, equipment parameters or a sample bag together with the required diameter and length, top and bottom construction, seam requirements, cage and tube-sheet dimensions, operating and peak temperatures, process-gas composition, dust characteristics, moisture and chemical exposure, required treatment and quantity. Final specifications are confirmed after technical review.
