1. Excellent heat resistance. The maximum use temperature of the chemically treated glass fiber filter material can reach 280 ℃, which is very suitable for dust removal engineering. Therefore, glass fiber is still an important high-temperature filter material at present and in the future.

2. High strength and small expansion rate. Its tensile strength is higher than that of other natural and synthetic fibers, and its elongation is only 2% - 3%, which is enough to ensure that the filter bag with large length diameter ratio designed and manufactured by it has sufficient tensile strength and dimensional stability.

3. Excellent corrosion resistance. At present, the commonly used glass fibers produced in China are divided into non alkali and medium alkali. Alkali free E-glass fiber is highly stable to water, wet air and weak alkali solution at room temperature, but it is not resistant to acid and alkali corrosion with high solubility. Medium alkali fiber has good water resistance and acid resistance. Therefore, glass fiber with different components must be selected as the filter material according to the properties introduced, so as to achieve better results.

4. Glass fiber filter material has smooth surface and small filtering resistance, which is conducive to dust stripping. It does not burn or deform.

5. Glass fiber filter material is brittle, not resistant to folding and abrasion, and has certain deformation after being pulled. The glass fiber fabric without surface chemical modification cannot meet the requirements of high temperature filter material, so its performance depends on the surface treatment process, formula and fabric structure to a large extent.

6. In hydraulic oil filtration, high temperature gas filtration and corrosive solvent solution filtration, glass fiber filter element has been widely used and achieved good filtering effect. Glass fiber filter material has the advantages of high precision, corrosion resistance, stable filtering performance, etc., but it is easy to deform, so it is not suitable for the same working conditions under high-pressure environment. The filtration performance is relatively stable under normal pressure
