Polypropylene filter cloth Polypropylene fiber is a kind of fiber made from propylene by polymerization and bulk spinning. Its price is relatively low. Polypropylene filter cloth has good chemical corrosion resistance, good resistance to acid and alkali, high mechanical strength and good wear resistance. The wet strength of polypropylene fiber is basically equal to the dry strength, and the strength of polypropylene filter cloth basically remains unchanged during the pressure filtration process after entering the mud. Polypropylene filter cloth has little hygroscopicity and almost no hygroscopicity. Under general atmospheric conditions, the moisture regain is close to zero, but it has a wicking effect and can transfer water vapor through the capillary in the fabric, but it does not have any absorption effect. The longitudinal plane of polypropylene fiber is flat, straight and smooth, which is also convenient for sludge stripping after sludge compression. However, polypropylene filter cloth has poor light resistance, poor thermal stability and easy aging. Polyester filter cloth Polyester is a fiber made from purified terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) and ethylene glycol (eg) through esterification, transesterification and polycondensation, which is a fiber-forming polymer - polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is spun and post treated. Polyester has high strength, good abrasion resistance, good light resistance, corrosion resistance, resistance to bleach, oxidant, hydrocarbon, ketone, petroleum products and inorganic acids, resistance to dilute alkali, and is not afraid of mold, but it can be decomposed by hot alkali. Due to the low moisture absorption of polyester filter cloth, its wet strength is basically the same as its dry strength. The elasticity is close to that of wool. When the elongation is 5% ~ 6%, it can be almost completely recovered. Crease resistance is better than other fibers, that is, the fabric is not wrinkled and has good dimensional stability. Nylon filter cloth Nylon fiber has high strength, with strength of 4-5.3 cndtex and elongation of 18% ~ 45%. At 10% elongation, the elastic recovery is more than 90%. The strength of nylon fiber is stronger in the fiber. According to the measurement, the wear resistance of nylon fiber is 10 times that of cotton fiber and 50 times that of viscose. Wear resistance ranks first among many fibers. Nylon fiber is resistant to strong alkali and weak acid. However, nylon is not resistant to light, easy to change color and brittle, so nylon fabric should not be exposed to the sun for a long time. Vinylon filter cloth The chemical name of vinylon filter cloth is polyvinyl alcohol. Its strength is lower than that of polyester, and its strength is only 3.52 ~ 5.72 cndtex. The breaking elongation is 12% ~ 25%. The elasticity is poor, the fabric has poor shape retention, good wear resistance, and the durability is 1-2 times that of pure cotton. However, it has a great advantage that it can withstand the action of strong alkali, has good moisture absorption, and is easy to be combined with rubber. It is a good material used in the rubber industry. Its disadvantage is that it has low temperature resistance, shrinkage when the temperature reaches 100 ℃, and is not acid resistant.
