1、 Installation of air filter for general ventilation

1) Installation method

Advantages of front installation of unit frame: good sealing, standard installation of filter. Disadvantages: large installation space is required; The cost of installing the frame is high.

Advantages of side push and pull installation of chute: saving installation space; Save framework costs. Disadvantages: It is difficult to seal well. Generally, it is only recommended for primary filter.

2) Precautions for installation of primary efficiency filter

Pay special attention to the air inlet/outlet side of the filter when installing the paper frame primary efficiency filter! The outer frame is made of moisture-resistant cardboard. It doesn't matter if the humidity is high, but it can't withstand the immersion of liquid water. The outer frame of the filter soaked in water becomes soft, the resistance of the filter material increases greatly, and the phenomenon of lodging may occur. Therefore, adequate rain-proof measures should be taken into account when using fresh air.

The paper frame primary filter can only be used once! The final resistance of the primary filter should not be too high. It is recommended to set the final resistance value at 150Pa-200Pa. If the final resistance value is set too high, dust will permeate and may not reach the set final resistance value.

3) Bag type medium efficiency filter

Installation essentials: the height and width of the filter cannot be reversed; The glass fiber filter material has poor mechanical strength and is easily damaged due to improper operation; Avoid contacting the inside of the filter material when installing the filter; The filter material cannot be used as the stress point during installation, otherwise it is easy to cause damage to the filter material. This often occurs in actual operation, and the installation workers of users should pay attention to it together.

It is recommended that customers wear gloves to install the filter, because the filter bag fixing bracket may hurt their hands. If they do not wear gloves, workers will naturally go to hold the filter material! Damage to filter material.

Final resistance: The final resistance of bag type medium efficiency filter is recommended to be below 350Pa. Otherwise, when the filter is wetted by rain or when the air volume of the air conditioning box changes, the resistance will rise instantaneously, which may exceed the structural strength of the filter and blow it out!

The resistance of the chemical fiber filter will not rise again when it rises to a certain extent, so there is rarely a problem of blowing out. However, with the extension of service time, the resistance of glass fiber filter will continue to rise. If it is not replaced, it will be blown out.

2、 Installation of air filter for clean room

1) V-type air filter

Installation essentials: The W-type air filter product adopts the same installation frame as the glass fiber bag air filter, and it is pressed with a press buckle. For H10 and H13 W-type air filters, it is necessary to use a frame with better sealing performance and a more powerful compression mechanism (frame four-corner bolt compression). The frames must be sealed, such as sealant.

The filter material of W-type air filter (white pleated part, glass fiber filter paper) is more easily damaged than that of glass fiber bag air filter. During installation/handling, hold the outer frame of the filter and do not touch the white filter material. Pay attention to the position of the fingers holding the outer frame. The inexperienced personnel often accidentally grab the filter paper.

Final resistance: The final resistance of the medium-efficiency W-type air filter is recommended to be below 400Pa. Otherwise, when the filter is wetted by rain or when the air volume of the air conditioning box changes, the resistance will rise instantaneously, which may exceed the structural strength of the filter and blow it out! The final resistance of high-efficiency W-type air filter shall be less than 600Pa.

Correct installation posture: Step 1: hold the outer frame of the filter with both hands, put most of the filter into the installation frame, and put it firmly; Step 2: Insert both hands into the V-channel of the filter. Attention: Don't touch the filter paper; Step 3: Hold the upper cover plate of the filter upward with both hands, lift the filter slightly, push it inward carefully, and close to the installation frame.

2) Installation of air filter without baffle/with baffle

1. The internal plastic packaging of the filter without partition/with partition must be opened in the clean room;

2. Hold the filter frame with both hands when handling and installing the filter;

3. At least two people are required to install the larger filter, and pay attention to the protection of the sealing gasket;
