How to check the quality of high efficiency air filter?
To test the quality of high-efficiency air filter, just put the air filter flat on the ground or on the table and sprinkle some water on the filter paper: (1) If the filter paper seeps into the water within 5 minutes, it is an air filter made of cotton pulp paper (fake and inferior filter paper), which must not be used. This kind of air filter is mostly produced from, and there are a few cheap people in the air compressor industry. (2) If the filter paper infiltrates water within 2-5 hours, it is made of low-grade wood pulp paper and can be used, but it will reduce the gas production efficiency of the air compressor (more power consumption and less gas production), resulting in more power consumption of the air compressor. Because the price of the air filter made of this kind of filter paper is relatively low, and it can also be used together, the air filter of this kind of filter paper in the air compressor industry is the mainstream, and the vast majority of air compressor stores sell this kind of air filter. (3) If the filter paper seeps in after 12-15 hours, it belongs to a better filter paper (medium-grade filter paper). Generally, domestic complete machine manufacturers with better quality use the air filter of this kind of filter paper as the original consumables. (4) If the filter paper does not seep into the water within 24 hours, it is definitely an excellent product (high-end filter paper). Usually, high-end machine manufacturers choose the air filter of this kind of filter paper as the original consumables. Particle counting method This method is commonly used in Europe, and the test method of ultra-high efficiency filter in the United States is also relatively similar. It is the mainstream test method in the world. The dust source is polydispersed phase droplets or solid dust with determined particle size. Sometimes, the filter manufacturer should use atmospheric dust or other specific dust according to the special requirements of users. If the condensation nodule counter is used in the test, the monodisperse phase test dust source with known particle size must be used. The main measuring instruments are large flow laser particle counter or condensation nodule counter (CNC). Use a counter to scan and inspect the whole air outlet surface of the filter. The counter gives the number of dust at each point, and you can also compare the local efficiency of each point. European experience shows that for high-efficiency filters, the most permeable dust particle size is 0.1-micro; m~0.25µ At a certain point between M, first determine the particle size of the dust most easily penetrated by the test conditions, and then continuously scan and measure the filter effect of the filter on the particle size dust. Europeans call this method MPPs method. American standard stipulates that only 0.1~0.2µ is measured; Particles in M range. In fact, MPPs method is also particle counting method, because the detection instrument used is particle counter or condensed nuclear particle counter. Domestic high efficiency air filters are mainly tested according to gb/t 13554-2008 high efficiency air filters, gb/t 14295-2008 air filters, jb/t 6417-1992 air filters for air conditioning, gb/t 6165-2008 high efficiency air filters performance test methods filtration efficiency and resistance. The detection methods include sodium flame method, oil mist method and counting method, and the sodium flame method is the benchmark method. It can be seen from the evolution process of the international high-efficiency filter testing standards that the high-efficiency air filter testing methods mainly include sodium flame method, oil mist method, DOP method, fluorescence method and particle counting method.
