What is deep filtration?
Deep filtration means that when the particle size is smaller than the diameter of the medium channel, the filter cake cannot be formed on the surface of the filter medium, and these particles enter the medium, approach the channel wall by inertia and diffusion, and deposit under the action of static electricity and surface force, thus separating from the fluid. Deep filtration will gradually reduce the pore channel inside the filter medium, so the filter medium must be replaced or regenerated regularly. Filtering drinking water by sand filtration is an example of deep filtration.
