Flat filter bag for asphalt mixing plant

2024-05-13 4 min read

As an indispensable component in asphalt mixing plants, flat filter bags play a crucial role in ensuring the uniformity and continuity of asphalt mixtures.

Selection of Materials for Making Flat Mouth Filter Bags

The flat filter bag shall be made of materials with good wear resistance, high temperature resistance and aging resistance. Commonly used materials include polyester fibers, polypropylene fibers, etc. These materials have high strength and toughness, can withstand the impact and friction of asphalt mixtures, and have good heat resistance. They can be used for a long time in high-temperature environments without deformation or damage.

The production process of flat filter bags

Design drawing production: Based on the specifications and requirements of the asphalt mixing plant, draw a detailed design drawing of the flat filter bag, including size, shape, and interface.

Material cutting: Cut the selected materials into corresponding shapes and sizes according to the requirements of the design drawings. During the cutting process, attention should be paid to keeping the material flat and smooth to avoid burrs or creases.

Sewing: Using professional sewing machines or manual sewing, the cut materials are sewn according to the requirements of the design drawings. During the sewing process, attention should be paid to the uniformity and density of the stitches to ensure the firmness and sealing of the fabric bag.

Interface processing: For the interface part of the filter bag, such as the inlet and outlet ports and fixing devices, special connection methods should be used to ensure the firmness and sealing of the interface.

Quality inspection: Conduct quality inspection on the completed flat mouth filter bag, including size, shape, sewing quality, and sealing performance. Only cloth bags that meet the requirements can be put into use.

Use and maintenance of flat mouth filter bags

Precautions for use: When using flat filter bags, ensure that they are firmly connected to the supporting equipment of the asphalt mixing plant to avoid loosening or falling off. At the same time, attention should be paid to controlling the flow rate and speed of asphalt mixture to avoid excessive impact and friction on the bag.

Maintenance measures: Regularly clean and inspect the flat filter bag, and promptly remove debris and dust adhering to the surface of the cloth bag. Damaged or severely worn cloth bags should be replaced in a timely manner to ensure the normal operation of the asphalt mixing plant and the uniformity of the mixture.
