The bubbling point test of filter cartridge is an experiment used to detect the bubbling point of filter cartridge. The experiment has the advantages of convenient detection and good reliability.

1. Components:

Filter, pressure gauge, combination joint, clean air source, water pump, water tank, pipe fittings, etc.

2. Operation steps

Wetting process

1. Complete the connection as shown in the figure above;

2, close the valve 1, 3; Open the valve 2, 4 and exhaust valve, open the water pump, control valve 4, and close the exhaust valve after the water is discharged from the exhaust valve, and start to wash and wet the filter cartridge.

(Hydrophilic filter PES, N6, N66, CN-CA with pure water wetting, hydrophobic filter PTFE, PVDF with 60%IPA)

3, adjust the valve 4, control pressure gauge 1 pressure display is about P1=3±0.5bar, according to the flow rate is more than 5L/ minute per 10 ", wash the wet filter cartridge for 5 to 10 minutes;

The machine measures the bubble point

Turn off the water pump, close the valve 2,3, open the valve 4, connect the machine air pipe to the N2 air inlet, and then open the valve 1 for machine test.

Manual bubble point measurement

1, turn off the pump, close the valve 2. Connect the N2 air source, adjust valve 1, and uniformly increase the pressure P1 to about half of the bubble point pressure value within 1.5 minutes.

2, close the valve 4, open the valve 3, and then pressure at a speed of 1bar/ minute until continuous bubbles appear, at this time the corresponding P1 pressure value is the bubble point value. After the bubble point value is measured, close the valve 1, slowly open the exhaust valve, and close the exhaust valve after the gas is exhausted. Record data to complete the test.
