How does the pulse filter bag work?

Pulse filter bag is a filter equipment that cleans the filter bag by pulsed air flow, which is widely used in the filtration of dust, smoke and other particles. The working principle of pulse filter bag is: an air flow is formed in the filter bag, when the flue gas passes through the filter bag, the solid particles are filtered, and the gas is discharged through the filter bag. When the accumulation of particles in the filter bag to a certain extent, the filter bag needs to be cleaned. At this time, through the air source, spray a certain pulse air flow into the filter bag, so that the dust particles in the filter bag are shaken off, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning the filter bag.

The cleaning mechanism of the pulse filter bag is to clean the filter bag through the pressure wave generated by the gas in the filter bag.

First, an air flow field needs to be established to allow the smoke to enter the filter from above, creating a pressure difference on the filter bag. When the accumulation of particles to a certain extent, the pressure difference will increase, then it is necessary to clean the filter bag. When cleaning, the air inlet and outlet are closed first, and then a pulse air source is opened, resulting in an instant high-pressure air flow, which is sprayed along the filter bag from the bottom up, so that the particles in the filter bag are shaken off. At the same time, open the air outlet and discharge the cleaned dust through the outlet.

The cleaning process of the pulse filter bag is generally divided into several stages: back blowing, expansion, vibration and washing. In the back blowing stage, the pulse air jet to the filter bag, so that the dust in the filter bag is shaken off, which is the main cleaning method of the pulse filter bag. During the expansion phase, the filter bag expands, thus increasing the distance between the filter bag and the filter drum, which makes it easier for dust to fall off the filter bag during flushing. In the vibration stage, the injection of pulsed air will cause the filter bag to vibrate, thus speeding up the dust shedding. In the flushing stage, the cleaning fluid passes through the inside of the filter bag to discharge the shed dust from the filter bag.
