How to choose a suitable high temperature dust filter bag?

June 11,2022

(1) Selected dust collector filter bag according to the nature of dusty gas.

  1. Gas temperature

The temperature of dusty gas is an important factor in the selection of filter bags. Generally, the dusty gas less than 130 ℃ is called normal temperature gas, and the dusty gas greater than 130 ℃ is called high temperature gas. Therefore, filter bags can be divided into two categories: normal temperature filter bags lower than 130 ℃ and high temperature dust removal bags higher than 130 ℃. Therefore, appropriate filter bags shall be selected according to the flue gas temperature. In practice, some people call 130 ~ 200 ℃ gas medium temperature gas, but the filter bag is mostly high-temperature type.

  1. Gas humidity

The dusty gas is divided into three conditions according to the relative humidity: the dry gas is when the relative humidity is below 30%, the general condition is when the relative humidity is between 30% ~ 80%, and the high humidity gas is when the relative humidity is above 80%. As for high humidity gas, when it is at high temperature, especially when the dusty gas contains SO2, condensation will occur when the gas is cooled. This will not only scale and block the surface of the filter bag, but also corrode the structure of the filter bag, so special attention should be paid.

  1. Chemical properties of gas.

In various furnace flue gas and chemical waste gas, there are often many chemical components such as acid, alkali, oxidant and organic solvent, which are often affected by temperature, humidity and other factors. Therefore, when selecting filter bags, it is necessary to grasp the main factors and consider them according to the chemical composition of dusty gas.

  1. Wettability and adhesion of dust

The wettability and wettability of dust can be characterized by the wetting angle. Generally speaking, those less than 60 ° are hydrophilic, and those greater than 90 ° are hydrophobic. When hygroscopic dust is added in its humidity, the cohesion and viscosity of particles will be added, the fluidity and electrification will be reduced, and it will adhere to the surface of the filter bag. Over time, the dust removal will fail, and the dust cake will harden. Some dusts, such as Cao, CaCl, KCl, MgCl2, NaCO3, etc., will undergo further chemical reaction after moisture absorption to deliquesce and bag, which is taboo for bag type dust collectors.

  1. Dust flow and conflict

When the dust flow and conflict are strong, it will directly wear the filter bag and reduce the service life. The abrasive properties of particles with rough surface and irregular diamond shape are 10 times greater than those of spherical particles with smooth surface. Particle Size 90 μ The abrasive property of M dust particles is very large, and when the particle size is reduced to 5 μ m~l0 μ The wear resistance is weak at M. The abrasiveness is directly proportional to the 2 ~ 3 power of air velocity and the 1.5 power of particle size. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the air velocity and its uniformity. Among the common dusts, aluminum powder, silicon powder, coke powder, carbon powder and sinter powder are classified as high abrasive dusts. Filter bags with good abrasion resistance should be selected for abrasive dust. If you are looking forhigh temperature dust filter bag manufacturer, please contact us.
