The framework of the filter bag cage is an essential component of the bag type dust collector .
It is the main skeleton that provides the structural support to the filter bag. The specifications and dimensions are as following : The diameter ranges from 133mm to 160mm * 1000mm to 6000mm . It can be customized according to the demand of the customers .
The diameter of the external circular filter bag is usually 114-200mm, with a ring length of 2-9mm. The commonly used specifications are 120-160mm in diameter and 2-6mm in ring length.
The internal circular filter bag generally has a diameter of 130-300mm and a length of 1800-1200mm.
Flat filter bags are mostly of external type .There specifications range from 1000mm to 2000mm, and larger ones can reach up to 2000mm.
The installation of the bag cage insures that the filter bag is firmly placed in the filter room collector. Therefore, when designing and installing it is necessary to consider the reasonable configuration of the size between the 2 components . How to ensure the perfect fit of the filter bag and the filter cage:
1. If the diameter of the Filter cage is too large it will cause trouble in loading and unloading . If the diameter is too short, it may cause resistance between the bag cage and the filter bag during installation resulting in wear and scrapping.
2. The gap between the filter bag and the filter bag cage dependent on the softness and hardness of the filter bag material. For example, if the filter bag type is PPS dust removal filter bag, the diameter of the filter bag should be greater than the bag cage by 5mm to 7mm, and the length of the filter bag should also be greater than 0.4% -0.6% of the bag cage length. If the filter bag material is glass fiber coated , the matching size standards are that the diameter of the filter bag should be greater than the diameter of the bag cage by 3mm-5mm and the length of the filter bag should be greater than 0.2% -0.4% of the bag cage length.
