What are the classifications of dust collection bags?

July 27,2023

The dust collection bag is the main component of the bag filter and bag filter.

It has characteristics such as high temperature resistance, high strength, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and bending resistance. After different surface chemical treatments and finishing technologies, it also has functions such as easy cleaning, water and oil resistance, and anti-static. It has stable size, good strength, and lower price compared to other high-temperature resistant chemical fibers.

Classification:

According to whether there is a melting point, it is divided into thermoplastic fibers and non-thermoplastic fibers.

Thermoplastic fibers will melt when they reach the melting point, including polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), etc;

Non thermoplastic fiber: aramid, polyimide (P84), Polyacrylonitrile (AC/DT), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), glass fiber

Common classification of dust collection bags

PTEF needle felt dust removal cloth bag, PPS needle felt dust removal cloth bag, glass fiber dust removal cloth bag, P84 needle felt dust removal cloth bag, Flumex needle felt dust removal cloth bag, Metas needle felt dust removal cloth bag, etc. Flumex needle felt dust removal cloth bags made of these materials are also widely used in dust collectors under various complex working conditions.

Hydrolyzed or not, It is divided into polycondensation Synthetic fiber and non polycondensation Synthetic fiber.

Polycondensation polymers include polyester (PET), nylon (Nylon66), polyimide (P84), aramid, etc.

High temperature, humidity, and chemical substances must coexist to activate the hydrolysis reaction.

Polypropylene, Polyacrylonitrile and Polyphenylene sulfide are not produced from polycondensation polymers and are often selected to replace fiber filter materials with hydrolysis problems.
