What are the high-temperature resistant filter bags used in chemical plants?

August 24,2023

In chemical plants, due to the presence of special environments such as high temperatures, corrosive gases, and particulate matter, it is necessary to choose high-temperature resistant filter bags to ensure efficient dust collection and safe operation. The following are common high-temperature resistant filter bag materials:

P84 (polyamide fiber): It has good high-temperature resistance and can withstand working temperatures up to 260 ℃. It has good chemical corrosion resistance and tensile strength, and is suitable for high-temperature dust collection processes in chemical plants.

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene): It has excellent high-temperature resistance, can withstand working temperatures up to 260 ℃, and has good chemical corrosion resistance and extremely low surface friction coefficient, suitable for dust collection scenarios of high temperature and corrosive gases.

High temperature resistant glass fiber cloth bag: Made of special high-temperature glass fiber material, it can withstand work in high temperature environments, and the general temperature resistance range can reach around 250 ℃.

These high-temperature resistant chemical factory filter bags can effectively filter solid particles in high-temperature gases and maintain a long service life. However, when selecting and using high-temperature resistant chemical dust collection filter bags, other factors need to be considered, such as gas composition, particle properties, pressure loss, etc., to ensure the selection of appropriate filter bag materials and sizes, and to install and maintain them in accordance with relevant specifications and operational requirements.
