What are the types of dust collection filter bags

June 30,2023

1. Classification of materials by temperature

Dust filter bags can be divided into three types based on temperature materials:room temperature fabric filter bags, medium temperature filter bags, andhigh-temperature filter bags.

(1) The room temperature fabric filter bag is mainly made of polyester, polypropylene, acrylic and other fibers through non-woven and textile processes. It has excellent properties such as good breathability, smooth surface, good dimensional stability, and easy dust removal. Mainly used in areas such as room temperature smoke control for ordinary dust pollution.

(2) The commonly used medium temperature filter materials for filter bags include aramid fibers and PPS series fibers, which are processed through soaking, waterproof, oil resistant, and anti-corrosion processes to achieve ideal results.

(3) High temperature filter bags are mainly made of high-temperature resistant fibers such as P84, expanded glass fiber, and ultrafine glass fiber through textile and non-woven processes. They have the characteristics of good thermal stability, high filtration efficiency, and long service life. Mainly used for dust collectors under various high-temperature flue gas conditions;SFFILTECH high-temperature filter bagsare used for parts with harsh working conditions, while polyester filter bags are used for ordinary dust collection.

2. Sort by shape

Theshapes of dust filter bagsare mainly divided into three types: circular, flat, and irregular.

(1) Circular: The dust removal bag is cylindrical in shape. Its specification is based on the diameter × Length, i.e. D × L (mm) represents.

(2) Flat: The dust collector bag is flat, including rectangular and trapezoidal shapes, and its specifications are based on the circumference × Length, denoted by PxL (mm).

(3) Abnormality: A filter bag with a unique shape, represented by its structural characteristic parameters.

3. Sort by filtering method

There are two main filtering methods: internal filtering and external filtering.

(1) Internal filter dust collection bag: After the dust containing gas passes through the inner surface of the filter bag, the dust is blocked on the inner surface of the filter bag. This filtering method is called internal filter.

(2) External filter bag: When dust containing gas passes through the outer surface of the filter bag and is filtered, the dust is blocked on the outer surface of the filter bag. This filtering method is called external filter bag
