What is a filter bag construction?

The filter material of the filter bag and the processing technology of the filter bag are the key conditions to determine the efficiency of the bag dust collector. Although the cost of the filter bag is not high, the replacement cost of the filter bag is the main part of the bag type dust collector, so the operation state of the filter bag is related to the service life and cost. Construction of the dust collection filter bag are introduced as follows:

1. According to the shape of filter bag, it can be divided into flat bag (trapezoidal and flat) and hole bag (cylindrical).

2. According to the air inlet and outlet mode of the filter bag, it can be divided into: lower air inlet and upper air outlet, long air inlet and lower air outlet, and direct current type (only limited to flat plate bags).

3. It can be divided into external filter type and internal filter type according to the purification mode of filter bag.

Filter materials used by filter bag manufacturers include cotton fiber, wool fiber, synthetic fiber, glass fiber, etc. Filter materials woven from different fibers of pleated filter bags have different functions. The commonly used filter materials are 208 or 901 polyester flannelette cloth. The air temperature is generally not more than 120 ℃. The glass fiber filter bag treated with silicone resin is generally not more than 250 ℃. Cotton and wool fabrics are generally used without corrosivity. The air temperature is below 80-90 ℃ and contains dust.
