Why use PTFE filter bags for garbage incineration?

August 28,2023

PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) fiber cloth bags have the following advantages, making them widely used in the field of dust collection:

Good corrosion resistance:

PTFE is an inert material with strong acid and alkali resistance and oxidation resistance, and performs well in harsh environments such as acid, alkali, and corrosive gases.

Good high-temperature resistance:

PTFE has a wide temperature range of use and can withstand high temperatures for a long time. It can withstand higher temperatures in a short period of time, making it stable to use in high-temperature environments and less prone to aging.

Low resistance:

PTFE filter cloth has a smooth surface and is not easy to attach dust particles, resulting in low resistance and high filtration efficiency.

Good wear resistance:

PTFE filter cloth has good wear resistance and can be used for a long time under high-speed airflow erosion.

In industrial production processes such as waste incineration, smoke contains a large amount of harmful substances and small particles, and the microporous structure of PTFE filter cloth can effectively capture these harmful substances and particles, thereby achieving the goal of purifying smoke. Therefore, using PTFE filter bags in high pollution industries such as garbage incineration can better ensure environmental safety.
